Online banking

These are bank accounts which allow access via the internet. This can be a simple way of managing your money.

You will need to register (or your bank may do this for you) and you will then be given a unique set of security details that allows you to access your details. You can then pay bills, transfer money between accounts and in many instances you may apply for credit cards, overdrafts or loans online.

You can also choose to check your statements online and cut down the clutter when you switch off paper statements

Importantly you will be able to check bank statements regularly and this allows you to keep on top of what is happening to your money.
